Black day for aviation. The low cost airlines (Ryanair, Easyjet, Volotea) stop for 4 hours. Among the union claims are the failure to adjust to the minimum wages provided by the national contract, the continuation of a contingency agreement that is no longer current, arbitrary pay cuts, the non-payment of sick days, the company’s refusal to grant compulsory leave days during the summer season, and the lack of water and meals for the crew. Alitalia-Sai’s ground staff is also grounded.
