A number of challenges that impact the sustainability of the sector were identified, including cost, digitalization and the push toward zero emissions. Social partners emphasized the importance of supporting inclusion, specifically by increasing investments in training. Both cases highlighted how social partners effectively managed the crisis during the initial period, even before receiving specific state supports for wages and employment.
